New Lenox OphthalmologistDr. Dylan Stevens is a cornea, external disease, and refractive surgery-specialized ophthalmologist with a special focus on corneal transplantation and cataract surgery.
Originally from Bridgewater, New Jersey, Dr. Stevens attended undergraduate school at Boston University, where he developed a strong interest in medical technology and innovation while completing his B.S. in biomedical engineering.
While obtaining his medical degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, his interest in medical innovation combined with an interest in the surgical and medical management of ophthalmic disease and drove him towards a career in ophthalmology. After graduating from his ophthalmology residency at New York University, Dr. Stevens pursued subspecialty training in cornea and external disease at the University of Minnesota.
Dr. Stevens enjoys managing diverse patient groups with complex pathology. He resides in the Chicagoland area with his wife and enjoys exploring the city and absorbing the urban culture.
